The Electric golf trolley is an automatic carrier of the golf accessories. It is driven by batteries and can be manual or even remote controlled. Designed to transport the necessary golf accessories in a game, the electric golf trolley can move easily even in the most demanding course. It can be lightweight, compact and foldable too. In all, it does everything that an old-fashioned golf trolley does and more.
An electric golf trolley is an investment for a golfer. Like any equipment, the trolley indeed requests proper maintenance to run at its best in the long term. Read on for some helpful suggestions on how to maintain the good condition of your electric golf trolley .
The golf battery is the primary source of power for the electric golf trolley and it requires proper maintenance and proper charging methods for a long lasting performance. Special care should be taken to ensure that the battery is being charged in the correct method. A new battery should be charged for at least 24 hours to activate it before using, even if the charge complete light comes on before the time is over. Avoid using the trolley for more than the manufacture’s recommended distance without re-charging. It might discharge and damage the batter. The battery should be charged properly after every round. It is definitely not recommended to keep the battery connected to the charger with the mains switched off.
If the golf trolley is not going to be used for a long period, the battery should be stored properly. It should be fully charged, removed from the charger and stored in a place having a temperature between ten to thirty degrees Celsius” It need to be recharged every three months at least.
It will also help to check the trolley parts regularly. The trolley body needs to be cleaned properly by using a mild detergent and warm water, avoid using any high pressure jetting equipment. Remove the wheels and clean off mud and debris after long sessions. Failing to do so might cause the golf trolley to malfunction and leave you stranded in the middle of a game. For maximum usage of your trolley, avoid immersion in water. Always use a reputable or authorized repair centre for reassemble and repair.
